We will be celebrating children’s communication in Warwickshire this year during our annual ‘chatter matters’ week. We want to build strong foundations for communication. The theme: “chatter matters – build it up together” aims to give you opportunities to share our strategies with families, using the topic of constructive play. Whether it is supporting children to attend for a little longer, build anticipation to the tower that might fall down, or develop turn-taking and negotiation skills as the children design a brick castle – we can support children’s communication when accessing construction play.
