Tier 1 is an introduction to communication and strategies to help support young children.

Tier 2 (for selected staff who have completed Tier 1) offers in-depth study of children’s communication development

Tier 3 (for staff who have completed Tier 2) offers preparation for running targeted language enrichment groups, and WellComm screening

Tier 3 in Practice (for practitioners who have completed Tier 3 and are implementing it in their setting) offers revision of the main learning points from Tier 3 and an opportunity to reflect on the implementation of this in your setting. chatter matters’™ (3 hours, face to face, for all staff) enables practitioners to offer language enrichment sessions for babies, toddlers and young children (0-2 years) based around singing, storytelling and play

Bitesize is our new short and practical sessions for anyone who has completed Tier 1 training. These cover a wide range of ‘current’ topics and dive a little deeper into the practicalities of how to support children in these areas. Topics include: Speech Sounds, Stammering, Neurodivergent communicators, Selective Mutism, Being Bilingual, Beyond words (AAC), Observation skills.
